JCYF (6th-8th) on Zoom

Date: December 09, 2020
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm, on Zoom

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to make some changes to the way JCYF will happen this year. We have opted to meet Wednesdays from 7:00pm – 8:00pm starting August 19th via a Zoom meeting instead of at the church, until it is determined that it is safe to meet in-person. We understand that this is not ideal, but we feel that this will allow us to continue to meet regardless of the state of the pandemic.

This fall, we will be working through study material developed by David Platt called “Follow Me”. The lessons are designed for middle school aged youth and focus on gaining a stronger understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. We are really excited to work through these lessons with your youth and see how God helps them grow in their faith. Our plan for each night will include a “fun” time, a time for prayer, discussion time to cover the weekly study material, and a prize give away. There is a youth study guide that accompanies the lessons that Rock Creek Bible Church will mail out (for free) to any JCYF child who wishes to participate in the upcoming fall session.

If your child would like to participate in JCYF this fall, please send an email to the Rock Creek Bible Church secretary (secretary@rockcreekbible.org) and include your physical address so that we can get the study guide mailed out to you and provide you with the Zoom meeting information. We will not be using the study guide until the second Wednesday evening, so this should provide plenty of time for it to arrive to you via mail. We hope that your child can join us for this fall JCYF session!
